The Gregory Day and a Half is an iconic mountain rucksack first produced in 1977. In the early days of the company, founder Wayne Gregory loved to talk tech with customers at his retail store in San Diego, where he built his packs. From its inception Gregory were noted for ingenious design, ergonomic fit and an obsession with quality. Today Gregory still maintains a local manufacturing facility where the Day and a Half is produced. The brand is well established in North America as a leader in technical rucksacks. In Japan, Gregory has combined this innovative, design led approach with a classic offering of timeless, durable product including the Day and Day and a Half packs. These pack’s colors are updated every season to reflect current trends, but the overall design and patterning has not changed over the years. The Day and a Half itself features four side compression straps, quick release bottom lash straps, dual ice loop and lash straps, #10 YKK zippers with leather pull tabs, 2” web belt and a 500d Cordura nylon bottom with liner. Figure-8 attachments for an added-capacity pocket underline the creativity and originality of this product. It has a 33 liter capacity and measures approx. 14” x 20” x 7”. Available online at Oki-Ni.
