Per chi ancora non lo conoscesse, Leftloft è uno studio di progettazione grafica fondato nel 1997 a Milano da Andrea Braccaloni, Francesco Cavalli, Bruno Genovese e David Pasquali. Nel 2009 hanno aperto una sede parallela a New York.
1. Leftloft, perché questo nome?
Non sappiamo ancora dire se c’è stato un motivo vero e proprio, ma in effetti la prima sede dello studio (in via Pisacane, 57 a Milano) era proprio un magazzino di polveri per i colori e si trovava nel secondo cortile a sinistra di un tipico stabile milanese (oggi siamo in fondo a destra invece..). In realtà resta un nome che a volte suona bene e a volte viene frainteso, (soprattutto al telefono). Tuttora riceviamo pacchi e lettere destinate a Leftlost, Listlost,Left-Loft, Lelos e via dicendo.
