La creatività ci piace. In particolar modo quando è sperimentata in laboratorio attraverso una buona dose di casualità ed inesperienza. Di qui parte il progetto Fiftyfive Fights for the Future in cui il brand 55DSL coinvolge gli studenti dei dipartimenti di Graphic Design & Communication, Arti Visive, Scenografia e NABA Sound della Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti di Milano. In questa occasione, per tutto l’anno accademico, i giovani “apprendisti” si cimenteranno con un brief consegnato dall’azienda del gruppo Only The Brave (Diesel) realizzando proposte creative ad essa utili, ma soprattutto altamente didattiche per i ragazzi della NABA. L’intero percorso creativo sarà, inoltre, monitorato attraverso una serie di incontri fino alla selezione dei lavori vincitori.

Born in a small village in the Alps called “Piussogno”, whose name, although it doesn’t appear in most of the maps, already says it all about her, I’m introducing you to Polly Bird Balitro, a young and talented photographer who, after having studied Photography at IED in Milan, in 2010 moved to Helsinki to follow the exclusive and innovative Master in Environmental Art. It’s here that she still lives, as she tells, in a small loft in an ancient building which she could have never afforded in Milan. “From her window-she’s proud to add- she can even see the sea”.

The series Object Oriented is a specially commissioned work Gabriel Shalom created for MINI for the IAA 2011.
