E da allora i Red Hot Chili Peppers non ci hanno più riconquistati. Estate 2011, Jack Frusciante è uscito di nuovo dal gruppo, proprio all’alba di un nuovo disco. Non se ne sentiva parlare dal 2006 quando uscì “Stadium Arcadium”. I Crystal Stilts combinano efficientemente le sonorità proprie dell’indie garage e i toni tipici della dark wave britannica ad un sound ovattato all’estremo.
